Orlando’s Pillar is the work of the local sculptor Antun Dubrovčanin and master sculptor Bonino di Milano from 1418. 

Dubrovnik’s motto is “Non bene pro toto libertas venditur auro”, which means “Liberty is not sold for all the gold in the world”
